This week the Bible readings at our service will be about 'The Law'. To start off we hear that Moses told his followers to pay attention to the commandments he had given them from God - to concentrate on these laws and don't make up or bother with any others.
In a mirror story, Jesus tells the hypocrite Pharisees (teachers of that day) to stop worrying about their made-up laws and to concentrate on the big things. What good is it to praise yourself for keeping man-made laws if you disregard God's laws?
Keep you eye on the big things. Keep you eye on what is most important. Good advise in all things.
DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF!!
