This is the thirtieth Sunday in ordinary time. The spirit of the readings, today, is one of joy. In Jeremiah's old testament reading, the Jews are shouting for joy because God returned them to Israel. In Mark's gospel reading, the man once blind is shouting for joy after Jesus cures him.
You should be joyful. You are blessed. Never doubt it. Be joyful. Let the world see your joy!
