SUNDAY SERVICE

Today we celebrate the Epiphany.  The story of the Three Kings visiting Jesus just after his birth.  They gave him gifts fit for a king.  The obvious message is that 'so should we'  give him gifts - the best we have to offer.  

Think about the word - look up it's definition if you will.  I'm sure you've seen it used in a non-biblical sense.  It means 'a sudden understanding of a situation' or 'a great discovery or realization of something unforeseen.'

So, yes, we should give God gifts we have, more importantly we should see the big picture - the whole picture.  Jesus the Christ is born.
