RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

POTPOURRI

Deep discussion on sports talk radio yesterday concerning the Zika virus.  "Do you put OFF on or do you put on OFF? "  Let me know what you think.

TV talk show remark last week.  "A fit person has a waist twice the size of their neck."  That means a 14" neck translates to a 28" waist;  15" neck to a 30" waist, etc.  Try it with a dressmaker's tape measure, if you have one.

Greater Cincinnati Airport has reduced it's number of terminals from three to one.  Where the two terminals were located, they are going to build a rental car garage to be shared by all companies.  Very convenient.  One of the big advantages is that it will eliminate the rental car transport buses and their obnoxious exhaust odors from in front of the terminal.

I'm still seeing tweets about Harambe.  For some, the primate's death seems more important than a human death.  "Harambe Lives" is a rallying cry for many.  "Never Forget Harambe" is being superimposed on national monuments in social media.   The latest is a suggestion to rename the Bengals in honor of the fallen gorilla.  Petitions are being signed to add him to Mt. Rushmore.

Now, don't go ape - this is all tongue-in-cheek.  Isn't it?
*o*
