SUNDAY SERVICE

This Sunday we read from the Gospel of Luke when he recounts a conversation Jesus had with his disciples.  To paraphrase, it goes something like this.  Jesus asked, "Do you think I came here to bring peace to the world?  Nah! baby, Nah!  I've come to set the Earth on fire."  Unsaid was the idea that not everyone would follow Him and that this would divide peoples.

Take a look at the world right now.  So many do not follow Him.  Peoples of the Earth are divided. by religion.  Fires will continue to flame around the globe.  Conversion is the only hope.  It's something to pray for.
