EXTRA! EXTRA! ELECTION EXTRA!

I couldn't let the day pass without making some comment about yesterday's historic election.  The sagest comment I heard today, was a quote from a Pennsylvania journalist recounted on CNN. ( Sorry I don't know the names.)  This explains the shock in Washington, media boardrooms and other Liberal bastions.  It goes like this.


"The elites took what Trump said literally but not seriously.  The common folk (we 'deplorables') took what Trump said seriously but not literally."

I expect the elites to call for Trump to back up every comment that he made during the campaign. They don't get it.
