WHEN I WAS A KID
When I was a kid, there was no such thing in my neighborhood as a 'finished basement'. All the houses were built with basements - where else would you put a coal furnace and coal bins? The neighborhood was built in the 1920's. Absolutely none had a 'finished basement'.
