CINCINNATI

I've been highlighting the bright lights of Cincinnati each Sunday for a few months.  Now I will introduce you to someone who will take you near the darker side of the city.  His name is J.T. Townsend.

Townsend is a native of Cincinnati.  He grew up in our Wyoming suburb and went to Miami U. in Oxford, Ohio.  J.T. is a true crime detective; a true crime author.

A few years ago, Townsend penned a local classic called "Queen City Gothic - Cincinnati's Most Infamous Murder Mysteries."  He followed that with "Queen City Notorious - Cincinnati's Most Sensational Murder Cases."   In addition, he has had true crime articles published in The Cincinnati Enquirer, Cincinnati Magazine, Word Magazine, and Clews.

He has written commentary on several local cases including the Bricca family murders - a cold case from fifty years ago in the Bridgetown suburb.

His latest interest is in the famous Lindbergh Kidnapping and murder.  I caught him being interviewed on a national radio program about the crime.  It was fascinating.

If you're into this genre, check out our local man's work.
