Yes, I've been surprised again this week. I found out that air planes have an upper limit to temperature in which they can safely take off. Who knew? It turns out it's 118 degrees F.
Yes, it got that hot in Phoenix this week and about 50 planes were grounded. Something about the air getting thinner in the heat. Planes require more runway to take off. The smaller the plane the more it is effected.
Summer just began early yesterday morning here in the Northern Hemisphere. Ga-all-lee!
Did I mention that I love to sweat?
