IT'S NOT PARTY TIME - POLITICAL PARTY, THAT IS

The moment the outcome of the presidential election was without doubt last November, the national political pundits started asking what had happened to the Democrat Party in America.  It soon became 'a given' that the party was a shambles.  Futurists were predicting a long tenure as the second tier political party.


Exhibit #2

The moment the 115th Congress of the United States met on January 3, 2017, with a Republican majority in both Houses, it seemed certain that significant legislation was in the offing.  Seven months later it has become apparent that this party is either too fragmented in it's ideology or does not have strong enough leadership to bring it together - or both.  This party was not prepared for DJT to win the election and, as a result, it's members are foolishly mired in their own ideology. Republican ideology has turned to idiot-ology.  Many members have abandoned the party, if not in name, for sure in fact.

I think something big may happen to our two-party system.  It's not party time.
