The high-flying Buffalo Bills come to town this weekend for a 1 pm game at PBS. The Bills are 3-1 with consecutive wins over the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons. Their defense is winning the battles having held their opponents to 12, 9, 16, 17 - that total leads the league in defense. That's winning football.
Quarterback Tyrod Taylor leads the Buffalo offense. He'll be throwing to wide receiver Charles Clay and running back LeSean McCoy who is also leads them in rushing. When the Bengals have the ball, watch out for Ramon Humber chasing Andy Dalton around.
The Bengals hope to have the services of Tyler Eifert this weekend but, his replacement, Tyler Kroft made that seem less critical with his outstanding game against the Browns. The bigger question is if there will be a John Ross sighting this week. Ross was the Bengals first round draft choice; a wide receiver who was the fastest player ever at the pre-draft workouts. Keep your fingers crossed. Fourth round draft choice Carl Lawson continues to shine and give a real lift to the defense. Let's hope he can catch Tyrod.
There is a new sense of optimism in town this week. Of course, the Browns can sure make a team look good.
The early line on this game makes the Bengals a 3-point favorite with the expected point total only 39. Who Dey?
