FAILURE

FAILURE
It sounds like a bad thing.  Something to be avoided at all costs.  Well, not so fast my fine feathered friends.  Maybe we've been looking at failure from the wrong angle.

Think about it.  How is anything new developed?  How is any new procedure learned?  How are improvements made?  Surely, you've heard of trial and error.  That's what its all about.  Every error is a failure but, without this failure, a new way or a new component wouldn't have been tried. 

The automobiles we drive today are enormously advanced from the ones we had when I first started driving.  Every part that fails is improved for the next year.  Every method of manufacturing is improved each year to make it better.  Failure after failure and all we get is a better product.

So, stop avoiding failure.  Stop being afraid of failure.  It is failure that moves us forward.
