Did you notice that to change your password on most accounts, as a safety feature, you will receive an e-mail so that you can verify if you have really requested this password change?  Big safety feature.  Not quite so.  If a hacker is able to get into your e-mail account, he could change all your passwords to whatever he wanted.  The alternate safety measure is to have a message sent to your phone.  Don't let someone else have your phone. 

Don't ignore two-step authentication if it is available!!!
