Attendees at the meeting included the Akron Pros, the Canton Bulldogs, the Cleveland Indians, the Rock Island Independents and the Dayton Triangles. The league consisted of 14 teams with Jim Thorpe being named the league president. The 1920 champs were the Akron Pros.
