The Micmac (alternate spellings: Mi'kmaq, Mi'gmaq) is a native American tribe indigenous to western Canada as well as eastern Quebec and northeastern Maine.  Here is a beautiful prayer provided by a current member of this Native American Indian tribe.

Creator, open our hearts to peace and healing between all people.

Creator, open our hearts to provide for and protect all children of the Earth.

Creator, open our hearts to respect for the Earth and all of it's gifts.

Creator, open our hearts to end exclusion, violence and fear among all.
