RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

WHAT'S IN A NAME?

You know that a group of cattle is a herd and a group of birds is a flock, well, I was tipped off by a reliable source that a group of roaches is an intrusion . . . and why not?  Not fake news - this is a fact.
When you call the pest control people say, "I have an intrusion of roaches."  You'll be perfectly correct.

And for my youngest grandson, RJ, who is fascinated by them, a group of alligators is called a congregation.  I suppose this puts another of my grandsons, Joseph, in the congregation - being that he is a University of Florida alumnus.  Good place to be - 'in the congregation'. Go Gators!
