CINCINNATI

As late as 1915, Cincinnati had two horse fountains located in the city center area.  Didn't you think that cars had taken over by then?  My father was born in 1920 - were people still riding horses when he was alive?  I can't fathom that. 

Here is a picture of one of the fountains as seen on Facebook.  It was located at 2nd and Broadway.  According to the notes, it was erected by the Humane Society and served over a 2,000 horses a day.
