Our prayer today is in thanksgiving for the wonderful things God has given us in this country.
Almighty Father,
We see you in the spacious skies,
and wonder at your awesome powers.
We see you in endless fields
growing corn and wheat and flowers.
We see you in majestic purple mountains,
their snow-capped peaks pointing up to You.
We see you in our huge green forests,
dotted with lakes and rivers running through.
We see you in the fruitful orchards
that feed our every need.
We see you in the people
who mourn and cry and bleed.
Thank you, Lord, for everything we have.
