WAR

First, let me make some comments to which I think we all would agree.  If our country got into a war, we would hope that the reason is important for the sake of our country and most of it's people.  It would take some provocation that did harm to the country or some of our people.  Once entering a war, we would expect that there would be casualties - in war, there always are casualties. 

Okay, we are in a trade war with China.  Their actions and policies do harm to some of our industries.  Don't be surprised if we have some casualties.  Some people in our country will be harmed.  We should expect that - it is a war.  Why does the press express the feeling that tariffs are okay if no one in our country are harmed?   The press acts as if no one should suffer.  Nothing will be gained without suffering.  Get it?  Get used to it.  Stop expecting something for nothing.  Have faith that in the long run, we'll all be better off.
