MIDWEEK PRAYER

Today, Lord, let me think, when I eat, from where this food came.
Today, Lord, let me think, when I see a tree, from where it came.
Today, Lord, let me think, when I see a friend, from where they came.
Today, Lord, let me think, when I lay myself to rest, from where I came.
This food, these trees, this friend, and me - were all made from love.
Love makes, it does not tear down. 
Today, Lord, I will strive to make my world one of love.
