BLOGGING FOR DOLLARS

I started putting entries in this blog in 2002.  I often checked into the blogs of others who were getting into the fun - there weren’t that many back then. One of the ones I eventually stumbled across was called “Barstool Sports” out of Boston.  It was rather rough but very interesting. I think it was a couple of guys who made periodic random entries about local sports and sports personalities.  I lost track of it after a while but ran into them years later on Instagram.

Last week, Barstool Sports sold a minority stake in its ownership (1/3) to a gambling/gaming company.  The agreed upon value of Barstool Sports was $450 million.  Where did I go wrong?

I may give that scheme a try myself.  Any buyers?
