ST PATRICK'S DAY

March 17 is the traditional day marking the death of Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland.  He lived from about 385 to 461.

He was a real person - a Roman/British missionary.   (Yes, children, the British Isles were a part of the Roman Empire in the 4th and 5th century.)  Ireland is the greenest of countries.  There are no snakes in Ireland.  Isn't that enough?

You know I could go on and on but I am restricted from writing more because I might cause people to gather and talk about this blog.  That would be a catastrophe.  People gathered together!  \\

This country has gone crazy.  Will the bars stay closed on St. Patrick's Day?  Will there be no parties?

You can't stop living because you want to keep on living.  Let's be realistic.  Is there anything more important than green beer on March 17?

Sorry, it must be the lack of sports on TV that has effected my brain.  I'll try to stay calm.
