MIDWEEK PRAYER

A lot of people are talking about prayer this week - mostly for the protection from and help for those effected by the corona virus.  No body wants to lose their life.  Well, let's not forget our spiritual life, as well.  So today,

"Lord, bring health to body and soul."  

In the early 19th century, a sultan in Persia, asked a wise man to inscribe on his gold ring, a statement, the veracity of which, would be true for all people in all times.  The wise man chose the words, "And this too shall pass." 

Profound!  True for a pandemic as well as a kidney stone.
