This weekend at Catholic mass you will hear about "water".
From the Old Testament, we hear of how Moses, at God's direction, struck a rock with his staff and water sprang forth to satisfy the thirst of those following him through the desert. It was from this water, that those Israelites believed that God was with them.
From the Gospel of John, Jesus spoke to a Samaritan at the well asking her for water. She was shocked a Jew would even talk to her. He knew her hidden thoughts and told her how she had been leading a sinful life. Then, He promised her that he could supply water that would forever quench her thirst. Of course, He was speaking of the water of Baptism - conversion. At this, she believed that God was with her.
Go to the water! Go to the water! It pools in God's house.
