On this date in 1981, a varmint was released in the United States that we are having a difficult time eradicating.  It was done by the Palo Alto Research Center of Xerox.  Oh my goodness.  It was the mouse. Thirty-nine years ago today.  Where would we be without it???  Alleluia!
