MIDWEEK PRAYER

Keep watch, Dear Lord, this day we pray

Look with favor on those at work and those at play

those asleep and those who weep.

Tend to the sick, Lord Christ, heal their suffering,

allay their fears, shield the caregivers,

soothe those who are crying and those who are dying.

Let us not forget, we pray, that there is more to life than living,

things more important than our pleasure.

May all we do today be for the love of others and of You.
