RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

THE WORD THIS WEEKEND

This weekend at Catholic mass you will hear a short passage from the Gospel of Matthew that is consoling and quieting.  He is quoting Jesus.  Read it often.  In times of trouble, remember it.  I'll repeat it here.

"Come to me, all you who are labored and are burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves.  For my yoke is easy and my burden light."

When things are bleak and not going your way, turn to Jesus.  Simple.

May God bless you.  I love you.
