The prevailing winds in the U.S. and Canada are the Westerly Winds - they blow from West to East.  The same can be said for northern Asia.  Most of the rest of the world has Trade Winds - they blow from East to West.

Do they speak American in England?  Seems only fair.  

The Westminster Dog Show is the most famous of it's kind.  It is estimated that a "show dog" owner spends about $250,000 a year on his dog.  Did you know that neither the dog nor it's owner gets a red cent for winning anything at the Westminster?  Best of Show!  Nothing!!!

Pop quiz!  Who was the first man to "walk" out in space?  Answer:  Alexei Leonov, Russian Cosmonaut.  His suit failed, sprung an air leak, not long after he left his space capsule and he nearly died before he got back into safety.  The Russians intended for him to be the first man to walk on the moon but problems like this in their program allowed Neil Armstrong to win that honor.
