Continuing with my 9" x 12" group (#7 of 10) of early paintings, I give you one that made me very proud when I did it. This was not a copy of anyone else's work, but a complete fabrication of my mind. Not until much later did I have the wisdom to critique it honestly. I think that a large sailing ship would never be brought that close to a dock. My sky was a little better than earlier attempts. Shadowing improved. What do you think?
