This is the story. His disciples pleaded with Jesus to send a gathered crowd home so they could get something to eat. These people were wanting to hear Jesus speak. Jesus instructed his disciples to feed them with just four loaves and two fishes they had found. Miraculously, they did.
It reminds us of the story of the Israelites who were starving in their forty year trek through the desert to find the Promised Land. Moses pleaded for them and, miraculously, God fed them with manna.
It reminds us of the Last Supper when Jesus blessed bread and wine to feed his Apostles and instructed them to do the same in His memory. Every day, his ministers are doing just that in His memory. Come to His table. Miraculously, He will feed you and you will live. Fear not!
