Dear God,
We are near the end of October
and the eve of the day we honor
all of your hallowed saints.
(all hallows eve)
As I feel the change in our weather,
may I also feel the change in myself.
As the daylight becomes less,
may I respond to the urgency of time.
As I put on a costume
may I also put on the mantle of Your Son.
As I walk this night
may I walk with Him
toward Your home in Heaven.
Let me be a saint, let us all be saints,
We owe You nothing less.
