 In 1943, Tom Watson, the CEO of IBM, thought that the worldwide market for that huge computer machine they were working on was probably five (5).  Yes, five computers for the whole world. 

Gordon Moore, the co-founder of computer chip maker INTEL said in 1965 that the power of computers would double every two years.  Everyone calls it Moore's Law.  He was right for at least 55 years.  







The first State in our country to allow women to vote was Colorado in 1893.  The Wyoming territory passed a law allowing women to vote in 1890.  These were efforts to get women interested in moving out West.  It wasn't until 1919 that the 19th-amendment was passed giving women full voting rights.  






I'm told that in Vermont it is illegal for a woman to wear false teeth without her husband's permission.  





The average 200-pound human carries between two and six pounds of bacteria.  No stats on virus.
