Remember us, Oh God, be our comforter.
You have given us our time on earth,
blessed us with days and nights, months and years.
Listen to your children this week at the turning of a new year.
Fill us with faith in the promises Jesus made to us,
and fill the months ahead with hope,
the hope we gain through the coming of Jesus into our lives.
Help us emulate the love we have seen in the Holy Family,
and then share this love with others.
We make our prayer humbly,
mindful that we sin,
but with confidence in your unlimited mercy.
