This weekend, we will hear at Catholic mass the wonderful Gospel of John in which Jesus cured the man blind from birth. Some lines from it are famous.
"I am the light of the world." - Jesus
"...I was blind and now I see." - blind man
"...if one is devout and does God's will, He listens to him." - blind man
"I came into this world for judgement so that those who do not see - might see..." - Jesus
Jesus is looking for you. Open your eyes.
The powerful Psalm 23 is used between the readings today. "The Lord is my shepherd, there is nothing I shall want." I like to say this in my most trying times.
