RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

THE WORD THIS WEEKEND

We've made our way to the 5th Sunday of Lent.  Palm Sunday follows and then Easter.  This weekend at Catholic mass you will hear piece of Paul's letter to the Hebrews that Jesus "became the source of eternal salvation for all who believe in Him."  That's the scoop, kiddies.  And he did it by His death.  And proved it by His resurrection.

In the Gospel reading from John, Jesus was breaking it to his Apostles that he was going to be killed.  They didn't get it. Not at first, anyway.  It was not conceivable that a savior would have to allow himself to be murdered to do his work.

Don't let it throw you for a loop.  He did it.  He did it for you.  Don't turn your back on it. It's never too late.

Have a blessed weekend.  I love you.
