The huge Hadron Collider on the France-Switzerland border has been shut down since 2018 for upgrades. It is circular; over 500 feet below ground and 17 miles long. All this to accelerate atomic particles and have them run into each other. Can you say, 'Mad Scientist'? They hope to get it going again before the end of the year.

Ocean water normally contains between 4% and 6% salt. The Dead Sea contains about 25% salt. Nothing can live in that. The Jordan River feeds it and brings fish which quickly die and become bird food.

A horse by the name of Medina Spirit won the Kentucky Derby last Saturday. The owner of the horse is Zedan Racing Stables. Medina is the second holiest city in Islam. It is located in Saudi Arabia. Amr Zedan is a Saudi Arabian businessman. The stallion was bred and foaled in Florida. It's dam (mother) was unable to produce milk for it at first so he was given colostrum from another mare. The little guy was sold for just $1,000.00. Saturday it won $1,860,000.00 bringing his total winnings to $2,175,200.00 and he's just a baby.
