When I go to Florida, I'm always impressed with the variety of birds which are so special to the area. Most Florida birds are seldom seen in Ohio. Well, I just read the the only bird endemic to Florida is the Florida scrub jay. It lives in no other state. They're blue and grey but not as pretty as our blue jays. They are different from the California, Western and Canadian scrub jays. I can't tell the difference but I assume the birds can. Sadly, the Florida scrub jay is now a threatened species.

I'm told they pump pure oxygen into casinos so players don't tire as quickly. That might also be true for some grocery or department stores. I could use a little myself once in a while.

Ice cream bars were invented in Youngstown, Ohio. At almost the same time, popsicles were invented in San Francisco. The patents for the processes to make them were almost identical.

White Castle invented the hamburger. That's what they say. It's probably a small lie - with holes in it.

A diddy is not a ditty but a titty. A ditty is a song. Please don't get them confused.
