ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

Last Sunday the answer to the heading above was "No!" for the Cincinnati Bengals.  This week they had better be ready.  At one o'clock Sunday the locals will meet the despicable Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh on Heinz Field.  Named after the condiment company, that field may look like it is drenched in ketchup at 4 PM. 

Number one, don't believe any of the crap they put out about players being hurt.  Miraculously, they will all play the week.  Number two, the Steelers looked as bad in the second week as the Bengals did.  One of these two teams should be madder than the other.  

At the start of the week, the Steelers were a 6-point favorite to win.  The betters have lowered the spread to 3 points.  The home team normally is given a 3-point advantage, so many people consider this an even battle.

As much as I hate to see the St. Louis Cardinals pulling away from the Reds, so I would even more hate to see the Bengals lose to the Steelers this Sunday or anytime.
