The Bengals have already played this week and have no game Sunday. BUT, we have a huge football game coming up tomorrow. The University of Cincinnati Bearcats play the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish tomorrow. Both colleges are rated in the top ten nationally. Kickoff will be at 2:30 ET.
I have no idea what will happen but a look at the betting odds is interesting. The opening odds favored the Irish by 1 point and a total of 47-1/2 points for the game. The Las Vegas consensus as of Tuesday morning favors the Bearcats by 2-1/2 points and a total of 50-1/2 combined.
I suggest you keep an eye on Notre Dame tight end Mike Mayer. I made a note of him in my blog notes in 2019 when he was a Junior at Covington Catholic High School. ND coach Brian Kelly was putting on a big push to sign him early - which he did. The thing about Mayer is that some thought he would be the best basketball player in Kentucky the next year if he played. He didn't. He arranged to graduate from high school in December so that he could get an early start in football at Notre Dame. He has a pro-type body with freakish athletic talent. UC will have to control him to win.
