Chickens do have ears although they are sometimes hard to see. Fact: chickens (hens) with white earlobes lay white eggs and chickens with brown or reddish brown earlobes lay brown eggs. Some new specialty breeds actually have blue, green or black earlobes and their eggs may not correspond in color.
