ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL

 University of Cincinnati passed the first of the last three tests on it's path to the College Football D-1 playoffs.  On Friday, they play the East Carolina Pirates  This is a real trap game.  ECU hasn't lost at home, in Greenville, NC,  since the civil war.  The Bearcats are two touchdown favorites.  It should be a high scoring game.

The Bengals clash with the Steelers on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.  This is a hard one to figure.  The Steelers have been erratic this year - mostly due to injury and age.  They haven't cured the age part but have been getting healthier.  Watch out for Watt this week, he is supposed to be ready to play.  Pray he doesn't hurt Joe Burrow.  The bookies have set Cincy as a 4 point favorite.

University of Cincinnati basketball played two top 15 teams this week and split with a big win and a close loss.  They play Monmouth on Saturday.

Xavier University snuck into the top 25 last week and then lost to Iowa State on Wednesday by 12.  They face Virginia Tech in Blacksburg on Friday night.  The Muskies will get some big time help when Zach Freemantle is ready to play.  He is recovering from foot surgery and should be ready soon.
