THIS N THAT

The aye-aye is a long-fingered lemur.  A mammal, the only known primate to use echolocation to find their prey.   Echolocation means they put their ear to a tree and try to hear if little creatures are crawling around in the wood.  Now comes their long finger used to gouge out the bark to get at the prey.  They have rodent-like gnawing and eating talent.  Here's a pic.

Successful gold mines produce just 1.1 grams per ton of ore.  Keep in mind that a ton is 2,000 pounds and that there are only 28 grams in one ounce.  You can see why gold is so expensive.

High tech changes:  If I glance at my phone during a conversation, I'm checking the time.  If one of my children check their watch during a conversation, they are checking their e-mails.

Self-deprivation!  Willfully depriving yourself of something pleasurable that you could easily have.  It is a powerful act.   You are a strong person if you can control your basic urges.  You could be thinking of a diet right now.   1) Make a plan that has you go cold turkey.  Expect problems for a short while.    Create a vision in your mind how bad failure would be - would look. 2) Set a goal and write it down.  3) Post it on the fridge or somewhere you can see it every day..
