Dear God, 

I have come to the beginning of another year.  
Thank you for all the past years 

and the blessings you have bestowed on me and my family.  
The past is past.  The future is now.
I am sorry for the all times I have failed you.  
It is with confidence in your love and infinite mercy that I dare to start anew.  
May this year bring me closer to you.
