This is the day of the passion of Jesus the Christ; he was scourged, crowned with thorns, made to carry a cross made from trees up a hill, he was nailed to the trees, humiliated, died and was buried in a cave. All that more than 2,000 years ago. I'm not sure of anything else with such an impact. Treat the day with respect.
