Today, I'm reprising a prayer I wrote a couple of years ago. I'm not sure what prompted me to do this one at that time but it seems fitting right now.

MIDWEEK PRAYER
A prayer based on the writings of Pope Saint John Paul II.
Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us
who have so much trust in you;
that we may be free from wars, hatred and oppression.
Teach us all to live in peace,
to do what is demanded by justice
and to respect the rights of every person,
so that peace may be firmly established,
and we may share with the whole world
the blessings of your peace.
Amen
