I can tell I'm not into the Reds like I used to be because I flip on the radio and hear the names of the player at bat, pitching and in the field and, for the most part, I can't tell if they are Red's players or not.

Of course, if you travel far enough from Earth, you will escape the effect of Earth's gravity.   For the International Space Station and any orbiting astronauts, there is no elevation that puts you into outer-space, if you assume that is where you are weightless.  You experience weightlessness when the vehicle you are in exerts an outward force equal to the force of the attraction of gravity.  Those astronauts floating around in the ISS are traveling at 17,000 miles per hour.  If they slow down, the station and everything in it will be overcome by the earth's gravity.  Do you get it?
