This week we celebrate the Pentecost event. It follows Jesus Ascension into Heaven. As promised, this is the day that the Holy Spirit was sent to the Apostles. It was from this day that they had the courage and direction to begin preaching to the world what Jesus had taught them. The Church was begun.
