This weekend at Catholic mass you will hear the story from the Gospel of Luke in which Jesus explains just who is your neighbor. We know that - all men are our neighbors. ALL! And we treat them as neighbors when we give them the best we have; when we do for them as we would have them do for us. It's not easy. ALL! EVERYONE! Not just the pretty ones. Not just the ones that look like you. Not just the ones doing good things.
And how do we find those in need? ALL! EVERYONE! is in need. Yes, even the ones who seem to have everything; even the ones who smile all the time; even "life's winners". They all need something and you may have that something.
Make your life about God by making it about other people.
