The flower of the magnolia is pollinated by beetles and not bees.  Scientists theorize that this plant developed before bees existed.  Beetles were our original pollinators.  The Beetles came from Liverpool, didn't they?

U.S. slaughter houses have processed 17,470,000 head of cattle this year through July 10; that's steers, heifers, cows and bulls.  That's over 630,000 each week. That's slightly more than last year at this time.  Who eats all that beef?  I guess we haven't gone Vegan to any great extent. Well, a good percentage is exported.  We actually import some beef.   Now you know why the old lady said, "Where's the beef?"
