THE WORD OF THE WEEK

The word this week is HUMILITY.  Be humble.  

The words of Jesus are fraught with the word and examples of it in action.  Jesus, himself was humble.  He admired those who were humble in prayer.  He had no use for the braggards, the haughty, the proud or the arrogant.  

Sometimes we, and I, make jokes about the difficulty in being humble.  I would suggest, of all places and times to do this, the worst would be in prayer.  You cannot fool our creator - so don't try.

I assure you, humility is a very admirable quality of being.  In humility, you may not be the life of the party but you will be party to the better part of life.
